Troop News - 09/09/2024

Parents Committee Meeting- Thursday, September 12 at 7:30PM- link may be found here. There is a lot to discuss for the upcoming year.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Troop Meeting- Friday, September 13 at 7:30PM in the LCH

• Very important meeting- for the first time in a number of years, we are having a contested election for Senior Patrol Leader.  The 3 candidates, Randy Changoo, Thomas Costello and Paul Gottlieb will have the opportunity to speak to you and tell you about their vision for the Troop.  After that, you will vote.  This is your Troop so you should have a say in who runs it, so please attend if at all possible

• Class B uniforms

Registration- if you have not yet registered, please do so on Friday.  If you do not plan on registering, please let me know.  We need to know who is in the Troop when new Patrols are created next week at JLT.

Religious Emblems- any 7th or 8th grader who is interested in earning the Ad Altare Dei award, please meet with Mrs. Perera before the meeting.  She will be in the LCH at 7 pm.

October Trip- we will be tent camping at Alpine Scout camp from October 18-20.  On Saturday, October 19, we will be hiking the 10+ mile Palisades Historic Trail.  Cost is $30, permission slip is attached.  Payment is due ASAP, but no later than Friday, October 4.
