Chaplain's Page

We’re glad you have taken a moment of your time to check out this part of the troop website. Religion is an extremely important part of all of our lives, and certainly an important part of the Scouting program. Through the grace of God, Boy Scout Troop 37 is committed to providing opportunities for each member of the troop to enhance their religious beliefs regardless of their religious preferences and background.

One of the ways BSA and Troop 37 do this is through the Religious Emblem Program. The Troop Chaplain assists all scouts in the pursuit of their religion’s religious emblem.

Click the following link for information on the Religious Emblem Program.

It is the goal of the troop leadership to assist every scout in earning at least one religious emblem as a means of fulfilling the oath each scout and leader takes to, “Do my duty to God…,” as well as living the 12th point of the Scout Law: A Scout is Reverent.

If you have any questions about the Religious Emblem Program, prayer requests you would like to share with the chaplain, or notifications of family illness or emergency, please send an email to the Troop Chaplain.

Please visit this page for updates on Religious Emblem class dates.

Yours in Scouting,

Steven Jerome
Assistant Scoutmaster/Troop Chaplain
