Parents Committee Meeting- will be Thursday, February 8, not this week.
Regular Troop Meeting- Friday, February 2 at 7:30
Greenbar meeting at 6:30. All Greenbar members are expected to attend.
We will be working on lashings, specifically, the square, diagonal, and shear lashings. Help on practicing them may be found here
Class B uniforms, so your Class A uniforms are clean for Scout Sunday

Scout Sunday- Sunday, February 4-The twelfth point of the Scout Law is “A Scout is Reverent”, so here is the chance to put this into action. We will be attending 10:30 am Mass at St. Teresa’s. Regardless of your faith or parish affiliation, this is a time to honor our affiliated organization. All scouts and leaders should be in the LCH no later than 10 am in full Class A uniform with merit badge sashes. This will be followed by the Troop 37 Brunch/Court of Honor in the gym immediately following Mass.
For those that RSVP’d over the weekend for the brunch, please remit payment on Friday. $20 per person for non-scouts over 12, including leaders. The attendance list is now closed.
February Camping Trip/Snow Tubing- We will be cabin camping at Resica Falls Scout Reservation in East Stroudsburg, PA from Friday. February 23 to Sunday, 25, 2024. On Saturday, February 24 we will be going snowtubing at Shawnee Mountain. I have purchased tickets for everyone who said they wanted to snow tube. If anyone else wants to snow tube, please let me know ASAP and I will see if there are still tickets available. Cost for the trip is $75 with snowtubing. If you just want to camp, it’s $27. If you are going snow tubing, please pay ASAP, as the Troop put the money out for the tickets. Please also note that the snow tubing tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Copies of the Troop permission slip and Shawnee waiver are attached. All payments are due by February 9.
