Troop 37 News 12/1/25

Parents Committee Meeting-Wednesday, December 3 at 7:30- Link may be found here.  There is a lot to discuss, ranging from the upcoming Christmas Party to Hawk Mountain. All parents are encouraged to attend. 

Troop Meeting- Saturday, Decemeber 6 at 10 am.  Meet at the Greenbelt Nature Center.

 

  • We will be taking a 5-mile hike and using a map and compass to complete Second Class Requirement 3B.  The following scouts need this requirement:

  • Everyone, whether working on the requirement of not, should have a compass, as you will be assisting those working on the requirement

  • Bring a day pack with the 10 essentials, including a snack

 

January Trip- We will be returning to Camp No-Be-Bos-Co in Hardwick, NJ from January 9-11 to stay in the cabin made famous by the original Friday the 13th movie.  On Saturday, January 10, we will be visiting the Lakota Wolf Preserve to get up close and personal with some real live wolves.  Cost of the trip is $60 pp, which includes the cost of the Wolf Preserve.  Permission slip is attached.  Payment is due by Friday, December 19.  Please note that this trip is limited to 30 people, scouts and leaders. Permission slip is attached.


 

Valley Forge Encampment- March 6-8- See what life was like for the Continental Army.  See attached flyer.  Cost for the trip is $50 pp.  Pay by January 16 to guarantee registration.  We will register people after that date as space remains available for the event.  Permission slip is attached.
