We had beautiful weather, good food and a weekend of leadership training at JLT. Congratulations to new Senior Patrol Leader Paul Gottlieb and the other new youth leaders. The new Patrol Assignments are attached.
One of the items discussed this weekend was coming up with new ideas to keep things interesting and it was decided to have some meetings at Pouch Camp on Saturdays. The first of these will be on Saturday, October 4 at 10 am. We will be working on fire building.

Gettysburg- LAST CALL. Our first Troop wide trip of the year will be to Gettysburg, during Columbus Day weekend. In discussing this with the other leaders attending, we have decided to return Sunday evening instead of Monday morning, so the trip will be October 10-12. We will be cabin camping at Camp Tuckahoe. We will be completing the Gettysburg Historic Trails Hike. Everyone completing all components will earn the Gettysburg trail medal.
The cost of the trip is $75, which includes cost of the medal, museum admissions, etc. Given all the activities, this trip may extend to Monday, which is Columbus Day. Permission slip is attached. Payment is due this Friday.
