Philmont participants- we will be having a brief meeting at 7 pm to discuss leadership positions in the treks and equipment.

If you are interested in working on a badge you (THE SCOUT) should contact the counselor to make sure they are going to be at the meeting. Do not assume that the counselor will be there. You also MUST read the Merit Badge book before coming to the meeting. You should also print out the Merit Bad Worksheet to aid in your preparation, but it is not a substitute for reading the book.

Saturday, March 1 at 7:30- Eagle Scout Court of Honor in the church
All Scouts are expected to attend. Parents and family are strongly encouraged to attend.
The Troop will be conducting an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Jarod Carp, Lucas Rodriguez and Leo Staiano. All Parents, Alumni, Friends, & Supporters of Troop 37 are invited to attend and congratulate our three newest Eagle Scouts. As a Troop 37 Scout it is your duty and obligation to attend and honor your fellow Scouts’ achievements.
Those not attending must notify me why - prior to ceremony.
Please be in Class A Uniform with Merit badge sashes worn over shoulder and arrive no later than 7:10 PM.
Refreshments graciously provided by the Eagle Scouts’ families & served courtesy of the Troop 37 Hospitality Committee immediately following ceremony.
Sunday, March 2 at 1 pm- Service Project-we will be performing our annual service project of burning palms in preparation for Ash Wednesday. Please meet at the shed. It should take about an hour.
March Trip- We will be cabin camping at Camp Musser in the City of Brotherly Love from March 21-23. See attached flyers with details, permission slip, and meal pre-order form. Trip is limited to 30 people. Payment due ASAP but no later than Friday, March 7.
April Trip- we will be tent camping on Treasure Island in the Delaware River in Pipersville, PA from April 25-27. This is a backpacking trip where we will be staying at a very primitive campsite and cooking over an open fire. As there will be a lot of preparation needed for this trip, ASMs Avena, Christensen and Gottlieb are devoting 3 meetings and possibly a Saturday at Pouch Camp to get everyone prepared for this trip. As such, if you plan on attending, it isstrongly recommended you attend the meetings on March 28, April 4 and April 11. The cost is $35. Permission slip is attached. Payment is due as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, April 11.
