Troop 37 News October 20 2025

Good morning. 

Court of Honor-Friday, October 24 at 7:30 PM Lower Church Hall

This Friday will be a Court of Honor for Troop 37.

A Court of Honor, as the name states, is a ceremony held to present scouts with awards they have earned such as merit badges and rank badges which recognize their achievements.  All the Merit Badges and Rank Advancements earned since the June COH, including everything earned at summer camp and at Philmont will be distributed. 

Scouts should be in Full Class “A“ Uniform with merit badge sashes and arrive by 7:15.

All Parents and Family are encouraged to attend to show their support of their son’s Scouting achievements.

There will be refreshments served immediately following.

Senior Patrol is the Service Patrol.

Please note that Suja will be there by about 6:45 to collect payments.  We will not be collecting payments once the COH starts.

Halloween- As the Greenbar has advised that some scouts are surprisingly more interested in doing a Halloween activity instead of coming to a scout meeting, there will be no meeting on Friday, October 31.  In light of that, the deadline for payment for Camp Citta is extended to November 7.

November Trip- Camp Citta- we will be tent camping at Camp Citta in Barnegat, NJ from November 14-16.  We will be doing shotgun shooting on this trip.  Cost for the shooting is $10 per shooter and will be paid for by the Troop.  Cost for the trip is $45, due ASAP but no later than Friday, November 7.  Permission slip is attached.

Philmont 2027- anyone who is interested in going, please submit $125 ASAP, Our deposit is due by 12/1, but we need to get a headcount ASAP so we know if we are going to have 1 or 2 treks.  Treks will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
