Troop 37 News

Parent’s Committee Meeting- this Wednesday, June 3 at 7:30- link and agenda to follow.  This is the last meeting of the year.  We need to start discussing some items of importance for next year, so please attend.  We will make sure the meeting ends prior to the start of the Knicks game at 8:30.

Friday, June 5 at 7:30- Regular Troop Meeting 

• We will continue working on First Aid

• Class A Uniforms

• Program Patrol- Pink Panthers

• Service Patrol- Howling Coyotes.  Service Patrol and Quartermasters please arrive by 7:15.

Troop Car Wash- Saturday, June 6- The second of our 3 car washes will be this Saturday (weather permitting).  Meet in the big schoolyard at 7 am.  Earn your way and reduce your parents’ cost for summer camp.  Class B uniforms.

Randy Changoo’s Eagle Project- Saturday, June 6 at 11 am at New Brighton Park, 171 Harvard Avenue- please see the attached flyer.  Yes, it’s the same day as the car wash.  Randy’s project was only recently approved, and he is going away to college in August, so he needs to get this done.  This Saturday was the only day that works everyone- Randy, the sponsor, etc., so we have to make this work.  Most scouts did not come to last week’s car wash anyway, so there should be plenty of people able to go.  We will also shut down the car wash a little early if need be so those there can go.

Adventure Park Trip- given a lack of interest, we are not doing this.  Maybe it is a bad time of year. If anyone is interested in doing this, please let me know and if there is enough interest, we can try doing it in October.

Hawk Mountain Payments and Deadlines:

• Breakfast at Landingville Fire House on the way to Hawk Mountain on Sunday, July 12- $16 per person. Children 6 and under $12. (scouts and leaders who are camping are paid for)- due Friday June 19

• Hawk Mountain Medicals- TWO COPIES (including Part C completed by doctor and front and back of insurance card), Dietary Restrictions and OTC Medication forms due by THIS FRIDAY June 5
