Troop 37 news 11/17/25

Regular Troop Meeting- Friday, November 21 at 7:30

 

  • Class A uniforms

  • We will be working on map and compass skills- bring a compass

  • Program Patrol for the month of November- Rattlesnakes

  • Service Patrol for the month of November- Striking Cobras- Please arrive by 7:15 to set up

 

Schedule Change- we will be having our second Saturday meeting on Saturday, December 6 at 10 am, Location TBD.  We will be doing a 5-mile hike with a compass, which satisfies Second Class requirement 3B, something a number of scouts need.  There is no meeting on December 5.

 

January Trip- We will be returning to Camp No-Be-Bos-Co in Hardwick, NJ from January 9-11 to stay in the cabin made famous by the original Friday the 13th movie.  On Saturday, January 10, we will be visiting the Lakota Wolf Preserve to get up close and personal with some real live wolves.  Cost of the trip is $60 pp, which includes the cost of the Wolf Preserve.  Permission slip is attached.  Payment is due by Friday, December 19.  Please note that this trip is limited to 30 people, scouts and leaders. Permission slip is attached.


 

Valley Forge Encampment- March 6-8- See what life was like for the Continental Army.  See attached flyer.  Cost for the trip is $50 pp.  Pay by January 16 to guarantee registration.  We will register people after that date as space remains available for the event.  Permission slip is attached.
