Court of Honor-Friday, October 27 at 7:30 PM Lower Church Hall
This Friday will be a Court of Honor for Troop 37.
A Court of Honor, as the name states, is a ceremony held to present scouts with awards they have earned such as merit badges and rank badges which recognize their achievements. All the Merit Badges and Rank Advancements earned since the June COH, including everything earned at summer camp, will be distributed.
Scouts should be in Full Class “A“ Uniform with merit badge sashes and arrive by 7:15.
All Parents and Family are encouraged to attend to show their support of their son’s Scouting achievements.
There will be refreshments served immediately following.
Senior Patrol is the Service Patrol.
Scouting for Food- Saturday, November 4- 9 am to noon- still waiting to be told where we are assigned
Pancake Breakfast Set up- Saturday, November 4- we will be setting up for the Pancake Breakfast beginning at 5 pm in the gym. We will need all hands, adults, and scouts, to help.
Pancake Breakfast- Sunday, November 5- more info next week, but we need as many scouts as possible to assist in waiting on tables. Please arrive by 7:15 am. Class A uniforms.
November Camping Trip- this is a backpacking trip. On Friday, November 17, we will have our normal Troop meeting, but everyone must come to the meeting with their backpacks packed. We will have a gear shakedown. We will leave our backpacks at the school and return on Saturday morning and backpack to Pouch Camp where we will spend the night in lean-tos. On Sunday, November 19, we will backpack back to the school. Cost for the trip is $30. Permission slip is attached. Payment is due ASAP, but no later than Friday, November 3. Please note that no payments will be accepted this Friday once the COH starts.
